I originally went vegetarian at the end of 2019. As I gradually learned more about the food industry and the impact it has on animals, I found myself questioning my choices. The more I discovered, the harder it became to ignore the connection between the food on my plate and the animals involved. A year later, on 1 January 2021, I made the decision to go vegan and officially join the vegan gang.
Since making the switch, I've discovered more new foods than I ever did before. My meals are more varied, and I've found vegan alternatives for every dish I used to enjoy. The taste is still there, but without the guilt. I feel content with my food choices, and interestingly, I no longer have the B12 deficiency that I had when I was eating meat.

When I'm not searching for great vegan food, I'm working as an Airport Host for Thameslink at Luton Airport Parkway station and inside London Luton Airport. I love meeting and chatting to people from all over the world, and I'm grateful to do that every day in such a busy environment.
Over the past few years, I've made it my mission to seek out some of the best vegan restaurants in London. These are all places I've personally visited and would happily recommend to anyone looking for fantastic plant-based food.
