The RMT industrial action which was due to take place on the London Underground in early November has been suspended, however, the industrial action by ASLEF will still go ahead.
On Thursday 7 November and Tuesday 12 November, London Underground will be severely disrupted.
As a result, our services around London are expected to be extremely busy, particularly on the following routes:
- Balham and London Victoria
- London Bridge/Elephant & Castle and London St Pancras
- Sutton and London Blackfriars via Wimbledon
- Welwyn Garden City/Hertford North and Moorgate via Finsbury Park
- Hendon and London St Pancras
For full details on how London Underground will be affected, please visit the Transport for London website.
Due to the short notice, despite the best efforts of our teams over the weekend, we have been unable to reinstate the early-morning and late-night service to and from Moorgate on Tuesday 5 November. This is largely due to the intricacies of service changes for this route, making it very challenging to revert to a normal service once plans have been submitted. However, we have been able to reinstate stops at Farringdon, Wembley Central and Harrow & Wealdstone. Normal service on all routes will resume on Wednesday 6 November.
Tuesday 5th November
Great Northern
Until approximately 08:00, and after 22:30, services which normally run to/from Moorgate will divert to/from London King’s Cross or start/terminate at Finsbury Park.
Wednesday 6th November, Thursday 7th November and Friday 8th November
We will now be able to run our normal timetable on these days.
