On-train emergencies

Find out about Thameslink’s procedures for on-board emergencies and see how our staff will help you if something goes wrong.

Emergency procedures 

Our team members are well trained in what to do if there is an incident on your journey. 

The driver, conductor or another employees on board the train will tell you what you need to do. They will do everything they can to help everyone on board and make sure you’re all safe.

Disabled people and emergencies

In an emergency, you should tell a train employee or another passenger if you’d find it hard to get off the train.

We’ll advise you what to do and make sure someone comes to your aid.

We will work with the emergency services to get you off the train safely if you’re in any danger.
