Amended Thameslink services at London St Pancras International from Friday 19 to Monday 22 April

All Thameslink routes to / from London St Pancras International

Engineering work is taking place in the London St Pancras International area closing some lines.

Friday and Saturday

Trains between Bedford and Brighton will not run as a through service. Trains will run between Bedford and London St Pancras International high level platforms and between London St Pancras International low level platforms and Brighton. 

Trains will be unable to call at Kentish Town. Replacement buses will run between West Hampstead Thameslink and London St Pancras International, calling at Kentish Town.

Trains between Luton and Rainham will run between Dartford and Rainham only. Customers should use alternative Thameslink trains between Luton and London Blackfriars.

Trains between St Albans and Wimbledon will run between London Blackfriars and Wimbledon. Customers should use alternative Thameslink trains between St Albans and London Blackfriars. 

Sunday

Until 08:50, buses will replace trains between Mill Hill Broadway and London St Pancras International.

Trains between Bedford and Brighton will run between Bedford and London St Pancras International only. Trains are then diverted to run between London Bridge and Brighton. Customers should use London Underground on any reasonable route between London St Pancras International and London Bridge.

Trains between Luton and Rainham will run between Dartford and Rainham. Customers should use London Underground and Southeastern services between Kentish Town and Dartford to connect with trains from / to Rainham.

Trains between St Albans and Wimbledon will not run. Customers should use alternative Thameslink trains between St Albans and London St Pancras International. Then London Buses and Southern trains to complete your journey.

Monday

Trains between Bedford and Brighton will not run as a through service. Trains will run between Bedford and London St Pancras International high level platforms and between London St Pancras International low level platforms and Brighton. 

Trains between Luton and Rainham will run between London Blackfriars and Rainham. Customers should use alternative Thameslink trains between Luton and London Blackfriars.

Trains between St Albans and Wimbledon will run between London Blackfriars and Wimbledon. Customers should use alternative Thameslink trains between St Albans and London Blackfriars.

Trains between Peterborough and Horsham will run to an amended timetable.

Buses replace trains on the Woolwich and Bexleyheath lines from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 April

Routes affected:
Southeastern between London Cannon Street and Barnehurst / Dartford / Strood, and between London Charing Cross and Slade Green / Dartford, and also between London Victoria and Gravesend / Gillingham Thameslink between Luton and Rainham

Engineering work is taking place between Deptford / Lewisham and Slade Green, closing all lines.

Southeastern

The following alterations will apply:

Woolwich line services

  • Trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford will not run. Replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Dartford via Greenwich and Woolwich
  • The London Cannon Street circular services will be amended to run between London Cannon Street and Dartford, via Sidcup

Bexleyheath line services

  • Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath
  • Trains between London Victoria and Dartford / Gravesend will be diverted via Sidcup
  • Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath will run between London Cannon Street and Dartford, via Sidcup, however please note these services do not run on Sundays

To allow for the diverted services, trains on the Sidcup line will be retimed. Some trains will also be amended and will call additionally at Lewisham.

To help you complete your journey:

  • You may use Docklands Light Railway between Lewisham and Greenwich
  • London Buses on and between the affected routes, including to / from North Greenwich for connections to the Jubilee Line.

Thameslink

Trains between Luton and Rainham will run between Dartford and Rainham.

Customers should use alternative Thameslink trains between Luton and London St Pancras International and London Underground and Southeastern services between London St Pancras International and Dartford to connect with trains from / to Rainham.

Easter Saturday - Trains will run to a revised timetable.

  • Moorgate: Escalators out of order

    The escalators will be out of order between The station entrance and the Great Northern and Northern line platforms from 07:30 on 04/04/2019 until further notice at Moorgate station.
    Additional Information:
    The down escalator at Moorgate is undergoing planned maintenance which is due to last until late 2019 and as a result the station may be busier than normal during busy morning and evening periods.
    During the time of the refurbishment the following will take place:
    - A single up escalator will be working, used to exit the Moorgate line Platforms. This may cause additional congestion during busy periods.
    - A spiral staircase will be available to passengers accessing the Great Northern and Northern Line platforms.
