Routes affected:
Southern between London Victoria and Three Bridges / Brighton. Thameslink between Luton and Brighton.

Late notice Engineering work is taking place in the Redhill area, closing some lines until 08:00 Sunday morning.

Overnight and early morning Southern and Thameslink services will be diverted via alternative lines, and will not call at Coulsdon South, Merstham, Redhill or Earlswood.

Replacement road transport will operate between East Croydon, Purley and Gatwick, and journey planners will be updated once final details are confirmed.

Engineering work is taking place on Sunday morning between Stevenage and Hitchin / Royston, closing all lines before 08:30.

Before 08:30, buses will replace trains between:

  • Stevenage and Royston.
  • Stevenage and St Neots / Hitchin / Peterborough.

 

A slightly reduced service will run between London Kings Cross and Stevenage.

Thameslink between Peterborough / Bedford / Cambridge and Horsham / Brighton

Engineering work is taking place between London Blackfriars and London Bridge, closing some lines all day on Saturday and after 09:00 on Sunday.

All day on Saturday and after 09:00 on Sunday, trains between Peterborough / Bedford / Cambridge and Horsham / Brighton will be diverted, and will not call at London Bridge.

Customers requiring Horsham services should change at London Blackfriars.

London Overground between Highbury & Islington and Crystal Palace / West Croydon  Southern services via Sydenham Thameslink services between London Blackfriars and Gatwick Airport

Engineering work is taking place between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace, and also in the Dalston Junction area, closing some lines.

London Overground:

No trains will run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace / West Croydon. You can use Southern train / bus services to complete your journey.

After 22:30 on Sunday, no trains will run between Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction. You can use London Buses to complete your journey.

Southern:

On Saturday and Sunday, trains will not call at stations via Sydenham. Replacement buses will run between New Cross Gate and West Croydon, and tickets will be accepted on London Overground / London Underground services between London Bridge and New Cross Gate.

On Saturday, trains between London and Uckfield will run between East Croydon and Uckfield only. Change at East Croydon for alternative trains to / from London. Trains that usually run between East Croydon and Watford Junction / Milton Keynes Central will be amended to run to / from Clapham Junction instead of East Croydon.

Thameslink:

A reduced timetable will operate between London Blackfriars and Gatwick Airport.

  • St Albans City: Lifts out of order

    The lifts will be out of order between Platform 1 and the overbridge from now until further notice at St Albans City station.
    Additional Information:
    This affects Thasmeslink services towards Sutton and Rainham. Please speak to station staff for further assistance.

  • St Pancras International: Lifts out of order

    The lifts will be out of order between platform A & B and the gateline from now until further notice at St Pancras International station.
    Additional Information:
    This is the main lift serving both the northbound & southbound platforms. No step free access available. Customers can travel via Farringdon station, where they can transfer step free to an underground service to Kings Cross St Pancras. Please speak to station staff for further assistance.

  • Stevenage: Lifts out of order

    The lifts will be out of order between bus stop/taxi rank on Lytton Way and the Station from now until 01/10/2021 at Stevenage station.
    Additional Information:
    From 28 June until October 2021, the local council are carrying out upgrade works on their lift and ramp so access from the bus stop / taxi rank will be closed at Stevenage station.
    Alternative ramp access will be available from the town centre or leisure park.
