Terms of Participation in the Promotion (the “Terms”)
Eligibility
- To be eligible each Participant must satisfy the following criteria (“Eligibility Criteria”):
- be aged eighteen years or over; and
- have a UK postal address.
- Employees of the Promotor, Ambassador Theatre Group Limited and the Accor Group, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household as Employees are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
- Any entries to the Promotion that are made by persons who do not meet the Eligibility Criteria, or are otherwise ineligible in accordance with clause 1.2 shall be discarded.
Participation
- The promotion is available on the Thameslink Railway website. To participate in the Promotion, Participants must answer the question and fill in the form with their details.

Timing of entries
Entries to the Promotion must be submitted between the hours of 12 noon (GMT) on 11th November 2024 and 23:59pm (GMT) on 18th November 2024 UK time.
Winners and Selection
- If a Participant satisfies the Eligibility Criteria set out in 1, participates as set out in clause 2 with the correct answer, and enters within the time specified in clause 3, the Participant will go into the draw to win the Prize.
- The Promotor will select the winner at random from the list of Participants who comply with clause 4.1.
- The winner will be contacted via email no later than 21st November 2024. To claim the prize, the winner must respond to the email. On receipt of the email, the winner will be sent an accommodation voucher. The winner’s name will be given to the theatre to redeem the tickets. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, or any other period specified in our contact notice, of the notification being sent or is otherwise not available, the Prize will be forfeited by them, and the Promotor may select an alternative entrant to receive the Prize.
The Prize
- One winner will receive:
- A from 17th December 2024 – 5th January 2025.
The ticket is subject to availability and as determined by ATG (including the choice of performance and the date of the performance, although ATG will endeavour to take account of the Winner's preferences if supplied). ATG cannot guarantee that the prize tickets will be for theatre seats immediately next to each other, although ATG will use all reasonable endeavours to secure such seats. ATG cannot guarantee that the tickets will be for particular performances on particular dates and you acknowledge that this is subject to availability.
- An overnight stay for three people max (2 adults and 1 child or 1 adult and 2 children) sharing a room including breakfast at the ibis Brighton City Centre – Station hotel
- off-peak return train tickets to Brighton for three people (2 adults and 1 child or 1 adult and 2 children) from anywhere on the GTR network including Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern, and is valid until 6th January 2025. Rail travel is subject to the National Rail Conditions of Travel. The train tickets will be arranged by the Promoter’s marketing team and sent via email. (the “Prize”)
- Only one entry per person. No purchase necessary.
- The Prize is not transferable and, unless offered by the Promotor, there will be no substitutions, or cash alternatives of, for the Prize.
- The Prize is subject to availability.
- No expenses incurred in connection with entry to or participation in this Promotion will be paid.
- The selection of the winner by the Promotor is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The Promotor shall be entitled to right to refuse to accept any entry.
- All entries are subject to verification. Incomplete, bulk, automated and third party entries (including “voting exchange”) will be disqualified.
- Any entries that the Promoter considers (in our absolute discretion) to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal racist, copied, offensive, cruel, or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others will be disqualified.
- Failure to comply with these Terms will automatically render an entry void.
- The Promotor does not accept any liability for any entries which are late, lost, incomplete or rendered.
- The name and county/town of the winner will be available for one month after the prize draw closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promotor. If the winner objects to their information being made available, the winner must notify the Promotor by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promotor at Govia Thameslink Railway Limited of 3rd Floor, 41-51 Grey Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 6EE. By entering into the promotion, the Participant acknowledges that the Promotor may be required to provide the Participant’s name and county/town to the Advertising Standards Authority if required by law, even in circumstances where the Participant has requested that the Promotor does not publish the Participant’s information.
- By entering into the Promotion, each Participant acknowledges and agrees that their Personal Data (meaning any data provided to the Promotor as part of the entry which could be used to identify the Participant) may be used by the Promotor for marketing purposes, and any other purposes described in these Terms. This includes use of Personal Data for promotional purposes by the Promotor and its partner(s), including the providers of the Prize. If a Participant does not consent to such use, then the Participant may withdraw their consent by sending the Promotor a notice in the manner prescribed in its privacy policy, as per clause 18.
- Except as outlined in clauses 11 and 12 above, all Personal Data will be held and used by the Promotor in accordance with its privacy policy: https://www.thameslinkrailway.com/terms-of-use/privacy-policy.

- The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms at any time without notice.
- In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms, the Promotion itself or any other matter relating to, or arising out of, these Terms or the Promotion, the Promoter’s decision shall be final. No written correspondence or verbal discussion will be entered into.

- This Promotion and these Terms are governed by the Laws of England and Wales and the Promoter and participants agree that the Courts of England and Wales, exclusively, shall settle disputes.
