London Underground connections

There are eight Thameslink stations with Tube connections:

  • Elephant & Castle: for Northern and Bakerloo lines
  • Farringdon: for Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines
  • Kentish Town: for Northern line
  • London Blackfriars: for Circle and District lines
  • London Bridge: for Jubilee and Northern lines
  • London St Pancras International: St Pancras is a five-minute walk to King’s Cross, where you can change on to the Victoria, Piccadilly, Northern, Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines
  • West Hampstead Thameslink: Jubilee line
  • Wimbledon: District line

Thameslink services also connect with London Trams at Wimbledon Mitcham Junction and East Croydon.

Buses in London
There are regular buses from all of our London stations to take you wherever you like in the capital.

Buses can be cheaper than the tube and may be free if you have an older person’s or concessionary bus pass.

You can use Travelcards, Oyster and contactless cards on buses in London but you can no longer pay with cash.

Bus connections between St Albans and Hatfield

Line2Line is a regular bus service between St Albans and Hatfield, connecting the Thameslink and Great Northern networks.

The journey takes 22 minutes and means you can travel between any two stations across the Great Northern and Thameslink networks without needing to go into London and out again.

Buy a ticket between any Great Northern and Thameslink station on the Line2Line station map and the bus will be included in the price.
