Bloc Hotel Gatwick terms and conditions

Win a stay at Bloc Hotel Gatwick and train tickets (the “Promotion”) *.

Terms of Participation in the Promotion (the “Terms”)

1. Eligibility

  • To be eligible you must:
    • be over 18 years old; and
    • have a UK postal address.
  • Employees of the Promotor, Bloc Hotel Operations Limiteds, their families, dependants and agents and any other person connected with are not eligible to Participate in the Promotion.
  • Any entries to the Promotion that are made by persons who do not meet the Eligibility Criteria or are otherwise ineligible in accordance with clause 1.2 shall be discarded.

2. Participation

  • To participate in the Promotion, you:
    • must comment on at least one of the Instagram posts on @tlrailuk, @southernrailuk and @gatwickexpress tagged with #TrainToPlaneExtravaganza published between Monday 23rd March 2026 and Sunday 29th March 2026, before Sunday 29th March 2026 at 11.59pm
    • follow at least one of @tlrailuk, @southernrailuk and @gatwickexpress
    • agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Winners and Selection

  • The first entry selected by the Promotor at random by an automated generator, will win the prize.
  • The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message by no later than Monday 30th March 6pm. If a winner does not respond within 72 hours (or any other period specified in our contact notice) and provide their e mail address, of the notification being sent or is otherwise not available, the Prize will be forfeited by them, and the Promotor may select an alternative entrant to receive the Prize.

4. The Prize (“the “Prize”)

  • One winner will receive a voucher with a complimentary stay for two at Bloc Hotels Gatwick They will also receive complimentary first class return tickets for up to four people from any Southern, Thameslink or Gatwick Express station to/from:
    • Gatwick Airport,; and
    •  Luton Airport Parkway,
  • The hotel voucher and train tickets must be redeemed before 31st March 2027. Please note – these cannot be used on 24th-26th and 31st December 2026.
  • The Prize is subject to availability, and redeemable via instructions which will be sent to winner by email.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Only one entry per person.  No purchase necessary.
  2. The Prize is not transferable and, unless offered by the Promotor, there will be no substitutions, or cash alternatives of, for the Prize.
  3. No expenses incurred in connection with entry to or participation in this Promotion will be paid.
  4. The winning selection of the Promotor is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. The Promotor shall be entitled to right to refuse to accept any entry. 
  6. Any entries that the Promoter considers (in our absolute discretion) to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal racist, copied, offensive, cruel, or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others will be disqualified.
  7. All entries are subject to verification.  Incomplete, bulk, automated and third party entries (including “voting exchange”) will be disqualified.
  8. Failure to comply with these Terms will automatically render an entry void. 
  9. The Promotor does not accept any liability for any entries which are late, lost, incomplete or rendered
  10. The name and county/town of the winner will be available for one month after the prize draw closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promotor. If the winner objects to their information being made available, the winner must notify the Promotor by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promotor at Marketing Department, Govia Thameslink Railway Limited of Monument Place, 24 Monument Street, London, EC3R 8AJ. By entering into the promotion, the Participant acknowledges that the Promotor may be required to provide the Participant’s name and county/town to the Advertising Standards Authority if required by law, even in circumstances where the Participant has requested that the Promotor does not publish the Participant’s information
  11. By entering into the Promotion, each Participant acknowledges and agrees that their Personal Data (meaning any data provided to the Promotor as part of the entry which could be used to identify the Participant) may be used by the Promotor for marketing purposes, and any other purposes described in these Terms. This includes use of Personal Data for promotional purposes by the Promotor and its partner(s). If a Participant does not consent to such use, then the Participant may withdraw their consent by sending the Promotor a notice in the manner prescribed in its Privacy Policy.
  12. Except as outlined in 10 and 11 above all personal data will be held and used by The Promotor in accordance with its Privacy Policy
  13. Participants may print these Terms or send a self-addressed envelope to: Marketing department, Govia Thameslink Railway, Monument Place, 24 Monument Street, London, EC3R 8AJ requesting a copy and they will be sent to you.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms at any time without notice.
  15. In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms, the Promotion itself or any other matter relating to, or arising out of, these Terms or the Promotion, the Promoter’s decision shall be final. No written correspondence or verbal discussion will be entered into.
  16. The Promotor is Govia Thameslink Railway Ltd of 2nd Floor, 55 Degrees North, Pilgrim Street, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, NEL 6BL and its successor rail operator. .
  17. This Promotion and these Terms are governed by the Laws of England and Wales and the Promoter and Participants agree that the Courts of England and Wales, exclusively, shall settle disputes.
