Planned engineering work
- To maintain and improve the railway, Network Rail carries out regular planned engineering works on the Thameslink network
- Work normally takes place at weekends or after 10 pm – but occasionally services are impacted at other times
- Information will be available here as soon as it is available
- Please check before travelling, and see our live departures and arrivals for up-to-the-minute information

- Some tickets may not be available online during engineering works. If you're unable to find your usual ticket, please use the ticket vending machines or ask at the station ticket office

Routes affected:
Gatwick Express between London Victoria and Brighton
Southern between London Victoria / London Bridge and Brighton / Worthing / Littlehampton / Portsmouth Harbour / Lewes / Eastbourne
Thameslink between Bedford / Peterborough / London Bridge and Brighton
Engineering work is taking place between Three Bridges and Brighton, closing all lines.
Gatwick Express / Southern:
Buses replace trains between Three Bridges and Brighton / Lewes and between Plumpton and Haywards Heath / Lewes.
Trains between London Victoria and Three Bridges and between Brighton and Eastbourne / Ore / Hastings will run to a revised timetable.
On Saturday only, Gatwick Express trains will not run.
On Sunday only, an additional Southern train service will run between London Victoria and Brighton via Horsham and Littlehampton, calling additionally at Angmering, Worthing, Shoreham and Hove.
Thameslink:
Buses will replace trains between Three Bridges and Brighton. Services between London and Horsham / Three Bridges will run to an amended timetable.

Thameslink between St Albans and Sutton
Engineering work is taking place between St Albans and Kentish Town, closing some lines.
From 20:30 until the end of service, a reduced Thameslink service will run between St Albans and Sutton. You can use alternative Thameslink services to complete your journey.
